Were the presentations recorded? I gotta find a volunteer next year to help with my table, so I can see more of the fest!

Hi Anthony—I don't know about the others, but here's a link where you can watch Dr. Melanie Joy's carnism presentation (the version I presented on Saturday is an adaptation of her original talk) : http://www.carnism.or...

Does anyone know how the results of the art auction are being handled? I bid on a collage from an artist (last name Kirkpatrick) and I think I was the only bidder... Was hoping to give this as a gift : )

BIG thanks to Patricia LaValle, Eddie Sullivan, Betty Popp, Felix Negron, and Amanda Lindner for helping staff the VLI booth. Erica Settino, Robin Helfritch, and the whole crew of volunteers with Karuna for Animals: Compassion in Action, I can't thank you enough for organizing this event! It was fantastic, getting to meet so many amazing people in one place, in one day. I am feeling re-energized to be an ambassador for the animals and for compassion. Much love to all.

I should add that the VegFest volunteers like Karen NBvW got there *early* in the morning, moving tables and chairs, and stayed afterwards, until the very last bit of trash was picked up from the ground. I overheard an observer, at the end of the day, remarking on what an amazing collection of people it was, who did all of this. And I very much agree. Thank you all!!!!!

Judy, I'm glad you could be there! If anyone else missed it, or would like to share the information with others, you can go to carnism.org for the original version of the presentation, given by Dr. Joy.
