We'll start the evening mingling in the main events room enjoying your choice of green smoothie or hot almond milk cocoa. Once everyone has arrived, we'll move into the kitchen for a cashew nacho sauce demonstration and tasting, enjoyed with Raquelita's corn chips, the oldest tortilla company in Denver, and some of mom's slow-cooked salsa. Then we'll walk you through making mom's garden cashew cheese - a cultured cheese made with rejuvelac, miso and veggies. We'll sample that with home-made gluten-free almond crackers and fresh veggies. Then we'll try some apple cobbler with vanilla cashew cream for a sweet ending to the evening.
We will have almond milk straining bags and kits for folks who are interested and can do a demonstration of that for folks who are interested as well. Looking forward to an evening full of inspiration and sharing!
