Hike & Picnic (please read all the details of this event, if you plan to attend)

Let's go hike and have a picnic!!

We will meet at 10 AM on the west side of the building and will start hiking at about 10:15. We will wait a bit longer for everyone who has posted an RSVP so if you find you can't attend, PLEASE change your RSVP so we don't spend time waiting for you. Thank you! The night before our hike, I will send my number to everyone who posts an RSVP so you can call if you get lost or if you have to cancel after the deadline.

The hike takes about an hour and a half. After we hike, we can hang out and have a picnic.

Wear sturdy shoes, dress in layers (it will start chilly but might warm up so you might need need to peel). Bring plenty of water for yourself (and your dog(s), if you bring any). For the picnic, bring a plant-based lunch for yourself (you don't have to be vegan to attend, but food and drinks are required to be plant-based/vegan) and whatever you need to be comfortable, chairs, blankets, etc. I think there is a picnic table, but I can't promise that it will be available.

There will most likely be folks of different abilities so everyone should have someone to hike with. If not, I'm happy to hang back so no one has to hike alone. Be aware that the beginning of the hike is steep, but it levels off on top for awhile and the end is downhill.

Friendly dogs are welcome, but are required to be on leashes at all times.
