Christmas Day Potluck/Party (open house style)

  • Dec 25, 2012 · 2:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

NO VEGAN LIFER LEFT BEHIND...All the gifts are opened, the wrapping recycled, and the breakfast dishes put away! What to do with the rest of our Christmas day? Don't stay alone!! Why not come on over to Lakewood and share time with some fun "Vegan Life" folks (family and friends welcome) who want to enjoy sharing some great food and holiday cheer with each other?

This is a family-friendly event, so bring the kiddos to share some time with other children!

ATTENTION:: PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PLACE SETTINGS (plates, bowl, cups, forks and spoons)!!

We'll start at 2, but get there with you can.

If you have a crock pot and feel like you would want to bring some chili or soup, please do! The clubhouse does not include a stove, so anything you bring that needs to stay warmed should be in a crock pot or on a hotplate. Yes, there is small microwave and a fridge. Other than chili and soups, finger foods, side dishes, home baked breads and desserts would be lovely additions, so please bring something that you like to make for the holidays! If you're not in the mood to cook anything, then bring some vegan drinks to share and yourself!! The more the merrier!!

If you have a favorite game, please bring it along Also, if you have some holiday music you would like to hear, bring that as well.

We look forward to having a wonderful time!

NOTE:: PLEASE DON'T POST TO THE INTERNET OR FACEBOOK, SINCE THIS IS A PRIVATE HOME!! THANKS!!

If anyone left behind a Camelback water bottle, I have it. Contact me to get it back. I go to some of the vegan events.

I suggest anyone who wants to go hiking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing sit together so we can plan some events.

@Andrew - That's usin' your noggin! Drive safely. Stat alert for Denver's dolts who don't know s**t about safe winter driving!

Giant crowd!! Surely hope that many folks think to bring beverages (mulled wine, anyone?!?). Food from some 60 people is excessive (to say the least!).

We're bringing a big bottle of plum wine assuming the weather lets us make it there at all.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN PLACE SETTINGS (plates, bowl, cups, forks and spoons)! There are no dishes available at the clubhouse. Also bring a serving utensil for your dish. Thank you!
