How did you hear about "Vegan Life Colorado" meetup group?

VegDen.net (a new vegetarian Denver website) has it listed but I heard about it somewhere else before that.

What draws you to a vegan group? (answer as simply or as detailed as you like)

Tired of the animal holocaust and all the billions of executions each year, the stupendously vast suffering, the animal diseases, abuse, the odors, the total ruination of rivers and the environment and our own impending doom.

What kind of activities would you like to see the group participate in, if you have anything specific you would like to do (note that our members are welcome to suggest and schedule vegan friendly events for consideration by our organizers)?

Vegan pet initiatives: Vegan dogs for sure. If cat's can't get with the program, then we need to breed less of them. Why kill one friend (cows or tuna) to feed another (cats & dogs)? Most of the dog droppings all over Capitol Hill are made from dead cows. In addition to cows, pigs and chickens, there's a drastic tuna holocaust right now too. They're almost extinct. How about food waste consciousness: I think I've read that abut 40% or more of the billions of animals that are slaughtered for meat end up in dumpsters. That's a worse sacrilege than eating the factory farmed slavery in the first place. Consider especially the astronomical slaughter associated with holiday food waste on Thanksgiving and Christmas. These have become unsacred annual events in human civilization. Vegan holiday meals for the homeless would be good. It does not make sense to donate money to organizations that feed meat to the homeless. Another example of killing one friend (animals) to help another.

NOTE: We only require a "YES" RSVP if you plan to attend a gathering. Please don't RSVP "NO" to gatherings you don't plan to attend. "NO" RSVPs only create email for organizers. Only RSVP "NO" when you need to cancel a "YES". Make sense? Thanks!
