Denver team places in TOP THREE for Farm Sanctuary Walk!

The 2011 Farm Sanctuary Walks Were a Huge Success!

Thanks to the support and amazing dedication of more than 4,500 walkers across 39 events, we raised $440,000 for farm animals, making 2011 the highest-grossing Walk ever! Thank you so much for supporting Farm Sanctuary’s life-saving mission and for giving farm animals a voice. The 2011 Walks reached out to a new audience with a message of compassion through increased media coverage, a Facebook campaign, and the efforts of every Walk participant who asked their friends and family for support. Many cities experienced huge growth both in funds raised and overall participants, including Los Angeles, which achieved an amazing 300 percent increase in funds raised, and Charlotte, which attracted 138 percent more people this year than in 2010! Here are the top cities, fundraisers, and teams:
