Mud Springs Waterfalls and Pools

Join me for a fun hike to a great destination. With all of the recent rain we will likely encounter some water. This
Class 3 route will take us to the Mud Springs Waterfalls & Pools. To get to the upper falls and pools does involve some
exposure. When we get to the pools you can relax and enjoy a snack, take some pics, or do some exploring.
Who should do this hike? Hikers who are in pretty decent shape, have a fair amount of scrambling experience, and don't have a significant fear of heights.
Who shouldn't do this hike? Beginners with little or no scrambling experience & out of hiking shape. People with a strong fear of heights.
Bring at least 2L of water, food/snacks, a "pea-less" safety whistle, cap/hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
While we should be done well before sunset, you MUST have a flashlight/headlamp anyway.
NO kids, NO dogs, NO guests.

Little potential danger is encountered. * Class 3: Scrambling with increased exposure. A rope can be carried but is usually not required. Falls are not always fatal. * Class 4: Simple climbing, with exposure. A rope is often used. Natural protection can be easily found. Falls may well be fatal. * Class 5: Technical free climbing involving rope, belaying, and other protection hardware for safety. Un-roped falls can result in severe injury or death. Exposure: Empty space below a climber, usually referring to a great distance above the deck through which the climber could fall.
