This Yoga class begins in the chair with breathing exercises followed by neck and shoulders exercises , back and side postures and some streching of the legs. The sequence then moves to standing and balancing routines using the chair for support. Final streches and relaxation are done sitting and/or the mat. Miryam became certified to teach yoga in 2006 through Sri Yogi Hari of the Sivananda Lineage and creator of Sampoorna Yoga (Yoga of Fullness) , in Miramar, FL. She completed the TTC 200 hour and ATTC 300 hour Residential Teacher Training programs at the Sampoorna Yoga Ashram in Miramar, FL. In addition to Sivananda/Sampoorna Yoga she also teaches Chair yoga.
