Ventura County Creative Collaborative is a meetup that focuses on the creative spirit and the interest to learn new creative techniques and experience art, in and of itself; whether it may be painting, art history, paper crafting, jewelry design, and more. The meetups are geared toward learning a new skill while meeting like-minded individuals and socializing in a safe, creative, stimulating atmosphere. It is for women who love the humanities; arts, film, music, literature, learning about new materials, techniques and the tools we use to create. It is for the artistically driven hobbyist or professional individual who is social and want to meet like-minded individuals with commonalities. We will go to films, museums, hold classes, watch art documentaries, discussions, DVD music concerts in my home, enjoy fine dining, culinary arts and decorating, explore paper arts, tea parties, wine tasting, cultural activities, books, conversation, music and so much more. No age limit. We welcome individuals who are kind, sharing and non - judgmental. Minimal donations are noted, as I really treat my guests to a full sensory experience.

All I ask is that you are serious about joining and that you will participate. I mean seriously, whats the point of joining a club like this if you are not going to participate, right? Also I ask that you cancel your RSVP a week before each event. I buy expensive foods, wines, and materials to give everyone a quality meetup, and when we have no shows, I'm out a lot of money, not to mention the number of days I prepare for my guests. It's just common courtesy. No shows are grounds for removal.

If you are an artist, sell vintage collectibles, estate sales, antiques, design shabby chic products, furniture, decor, and any other type of custom product, or own a business you are welcome to exhibit at my flea markets. My background and credentials: I am a selling/exhibiting artist, jewelry designer - instructor 30 years. I have a degree in fine arts and minor in art history. I own a production company; Lotus Productions and produce art events and flea markets. I have a product line of over 9  products, and sell at festivals and flea markets. My design company is called BohemianArtes.  My only pet peaves are: Discourteous/Thoughtless behavior.

Thank you. I look forward to meeting you.
