5:30-5:45 Getting Situated and Intro's.
5:45 - 6:45 "IDEXX’s Tableau Journey" - Jack May.
This session will explain the success story behind Enterprise adoption and deployment within IDEXX and what, according to IDEXX, the crucial elements for success are. Jack will present this visually, supported by examples of tools and Tableau dashboards they have developed.
IDEXX chose Tableau in December of 2014, with an idea of having 50 server users, and 10 developers. It took off like a rocket, IDEXX now has about 3000 interactors and 150 developers, concentrated heavily on sales staff and IDEXX labs around the country, with smaller footprint groups across the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. With very few admins (one and a half FTE), and many users, end users have been encouraged to take on a lot of the learning, teaching, testing, and leadership. Jack will also share his ideas of successfully running an internal table user group.
