We have a special Fireside chat coming at all you cool tech kids. Lever (https://www.lever.co/), one of the fastest growing ATS (Applicant Tracking System) companies in Silicon Valley is sending their Director of Recruitment, Amanda Bell, to Victoria for one night only!

Come join Amanda Bell as she talks with Linley Faulkner, about Recruitment and Diversity and how Lever leveraged (pun intended) their current team to find recruiting success!

Amanda Bell is the Director of Recruiting at Lever where she oversees the hiring processes behind the talent building and innovative, candidate-centric applicant tracking system. Before joining the Lever team, Amanda was the technical recruiting manager at Yelp, managing a team of recruiters and coordinators while building out the recruiting and development strategies for university recruiting. Amanda received her bachelor's degree in English from Colorado State University.

Linley Faulkner is co-founder of Emplomacy (http://www.emplomacy.com/), a boutique people operations and talent acquisition consultancy. Prior to Emplomacy, Linley helped grow Victoria tech startup Sendwithus and multiple non-profit agencies. Over the years, she contributed to the tech community through initiatives like Lighthouse Labs, Girls Learning Code, and NetSquared Victoria. She is also a co-organizer of the YYJ Tech Ladies slack community, and a co-organizer of the launch of Diversitechy - a local initiative to encourage diversity and inclusion in the tech startup community. She's an active community member in Victoria. She chairs the Coast Capital Vancouver Island Young Leaders Council, which allots 1.5 million in grants to youth-serving organizations across the Coast Capital market area. Linley is a graduate of the University of Victoria.
