The trail to Snow Lake is one of the most popular in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area, and it's easy to see why. There are incredible views of the surrounding peaks as you make your way through alpine meadows dressed with wildflowers and mountain grasses. Almost immediately, the first views of Snow Lake are breathtaking and as you approach it the wonder really sets in. Towering rock cliffs rise from one shore of Snow Lake to Chair Peak, and forested cliffs fall from the other shore to the broad, deep gulf of the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River.
