In a relaxed, open-hearted atmosphere, learn easy tips & tricks to connect the energies of voice & sound with the whole of your body and mind. Experiment the calming and revitalizing gifts of Intuitive Sound Healing with effective tools such as toning, voice yoga, sound meditation and body awareness. We will also experience the rebalancing effects of a variety of carefully chosen traditional sound healing instruments, ranging from drums to singing bowls, chimes, rattles, rain sticks and many others; all of which have a specific role in helping rebalancing the energy flow within.

Focused on your breath, conscious intention and mindful expression, you will be encouraged to trust your inner knowledge in producing meaningful and sacred sounds as energy medicine for the body, mind, heart and soul.

This is an invitation to feel enlightened and empowered; learning basic Intuitive Sound Healing skills that will guide you on the path to awareness and self-transformation, and give you tools to help others such as your family, friends and clients attain a sense of deep peace & unity. Bio:
MJ (Marie Josée) Vermette is a musician, sound healing artist, workshop facilitator and certified Body-mind, Taoist Acupressure & Energy Therapy practitioner, specialized in Sound Massage. She has extensive experience, supporting people healing from trauma, addiction, abuse, emotional, mental or physical challenges and has offered her expertise in diverse wellness events and facilities such as the Chopra Center for Wellbeing. As a skilled facilitator, vocalist and hand drummer, she has been offering Intuitive Sound & Energy; Voice and Drumming Self-Expression Workshops since 2004; a unique concept that allows her therapeutic expertise to blend with her artistic personality, to help people radiate peace, health and positive force. Raised and trained in Montréal (Canada), she moved to the Vancouver area in 2010, where she formed SacredFire with Dean Richards. Together, they have produced three music albums, and presented their participative Worldbeat Music Medicine Concerts & Workshops in Canada (BC, Alberta, Quebec), USA, England, France, Germany and Mexico. Sessions often start with a meditation. If you arrive later than 7pm you may have to wait until the meditation is over before you enter the room.

The meet up group will be held in the Gymnasium
