At our next workshop on February 16, we start workshop series "We draw the World: Favorite subjects", which will reflect the specifics of different countries, their cultural and natural features. Your favorite subjects can be associated with impressions obtained during travel, or inspired by books, films, works of art. For your picture you can take a well-known and beloved story, or perhaps you want to paint something of your own, special. It will be extremely interesting to see the result of the work of each participant individually and the group as a whole. It will be a kind of complex of impressions associated with a particular country.
And we decided to start with France! What is the pictorial row that arises in your imagination when you think about this country? The Impressionists? The Eiffel tower? Lavender fields of Provence? The red carpet at the Cannes film festival? Champagne and foie gras? Paint your France, share your impressions about this wonderful country!
And, of course, at our "French" evening will sound French music, which is distinguished by sincerity and romance.
Our special guest - young and very talented saxophonist Anton Balinsky will perform for you jazz improvisations on the themes of popular French melodies.
And, as always, for the participants of the workshop will draw a lottery. We do not promise the winner a trip to Paris for two, but the prize will be nice.
And we would like to ask you – if you have any small attributes or clothing accessories related to France (a flag, a souvenir of the Eiffel tower, scarf etc.), please bring them to our workshop. This will help us to dive deeper into the theme of the evening. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
