In German there's a saying: "Alles Neu macht der Mai" and this certainly holds true in this case. iteratec is moving offices and so is the Vienna Scrum Meetup! The new address is Donau-City-Straße 11, 1220 Vienna (Don't be fooled by google maps! You're looking for the Ares Tower not the Melia Hotel in DC Tower 1!) on the 20th floor.

But there's more! Since May 1st is a public holiday, I've moved the meetup to the second week of May. Observant readers (who have been to one of the Meetups before) will also have noticed that May 9th is a Tuesday, and there's a reason for that too!

Not only are we moving through time and space, but we will be joined Amaad Qureshi and Jose Casal from Agile Connexions Meetup in the UK! They are in Vienna because Jose is giving a training, and Jose has offered to prepare a talk on

How Motivated Is Your Team? Going Beyond the Traditional Performance Management.

This practical workshop will introduce a number of techniques that we can use to help us understand and improve the levels of engagement and motivation in our teams as well as explore what factors (positive and negative) are impacting us.

These techniques can be used as modern & richer alternatives to traditional performance management approach. They come from a number of backgrounds including Management 3.0, Innovation Games and others.

In this workshop, the attendees will be able to explore techniques such as:
– Happiness Index
– Kudos Cards
– Moving Motivators
– Gallup Q12 on Staff Engagement
– Waste Snake
– Staff Liquidity

So fasten your seatbelts, clear your schedule and RSVP: Yes!, because it's going to be legen - wait for it - dary!

Oh, there's one more thing ... I ordered Pizza! It should be here before Jose starts. Be here on time, so you can get some before the the main event!
