January Jazz [Angel]
Happy New Year!! Come and let's share those amazing holidays stories! Let's again have drinks at the amazing Angelic ( http://www.theangelic.co.uk/ )on the corner of Tolpuddle St and Liverpool Road in Angel, N1 0RJ ( https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/The+Angelic/@51.5355578,-0.1093659,16z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xa5aa2fea6c2d9f75!8m2!3d51.534797!4d-0.107263 ). A great little bar slightly away from the main crowds, it has a nice relaxing quiet environment for that casual drink after work. As with previous formats, we'll meet for drinks. Optionally, after 8pm, we'll gather the numbers of those interested in dinner nearby. For those curious, Vietnamese options include Viet Garden, Nem Nem or for those with deeper pockets and a small amount of luck, as sometimes they're closed, the boutique Little Viet Kitchen. To get there by tube, exit Angel Station and walk towards Chapel Market then keep walking. Various buses are also available from Kings Cross.

    What we're about

    Public Group

Everything about Vietnamese culture, language, food and business & social.

Vietnam is an amazing country with over 85 million people that lies in the middle of South East Asia. It boasts large tropical forest, numerous ethnic groups, colourful history and yet its strong resilience to pessimism is what defines the Vietnamese people.

UK is the home of more than 50,000 Vietnamese, many are first generation who first arrived in the early 80s. They are now joined by over 8,000 overseas students from Vietnam. London has the largest concentration of Vietnamese, and is the best place to experience Vietnamese culture.

Vietnamese Appreciation Society is about enriching London's culture through entertaining individuals with Vietnamese traditions and language via social and cultural events.

Of a more serious note, our members should feel welcome, comfortable and safe. Unsolicited messages that are not of that spirit will not be tolerated. If you are the recipient of such a message, please feel free to report it so that we can make this community a great place.
