World Music & Dance Circle by Atumpan at Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center

Experience a day without limits, judgements, or prejudice when you join Atumpan-The Talking Drums for a musical event on Saturday, August 30th, 2014 from 10am -1pm.  People of all ages, nationalities, and preferences come together to celebrate something that we all share:  MUSIC.  The farmer's market will be open and we will convene inside the courtyard of PACC (Portsmouth Art & Cultural Center) to celebrate life in all its forms with bells, shakers, guitars, drums, and more. 

Here's what to expect:

3 hours of casual fun so come and go as you please Info on current and upcoming PACC exhibits Announcements and info from local artists/groups FREE drawings and raffles wHole Food Hole Game (kinda like Corn Hole, but focused on Whole Foods)Tent for info on what's happening in town

  Now that you're excited, let us know if you're coming and if you have any announcements for the day or would like to contribute to the raffle gifts. 

Bring instruments, share some of Atumpan’s or just hang out.  Dancing and music-playing are not mandatory.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Nope.  Its a free-for-all.  Literally

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

FREE parking in Portsmouth, yeah!  Catch the ferry from Waterside in Norfolk and walk 2 blocks to the event.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

You  CAN bring your smile, warm energy, instruments, farmer's market list, and flyers/cards (if approved).

You CANNOT bring alcohol, amplification for electric instruments, or fake moustaches.  Maybe fake moustaches

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

NOPE.  We'll have a check in list and trust you
