Feb 21st Meeting VDI and Client Virtualization: Look before you leap!

Lots of folks are talking about VDI, but do you really need it? There are many forms of “client” virtualization besides managing client VMs in an expensive datacenter. Did you know that you can quickly create an entire VDI infrastructure with Windows Server 2012? Did you know that you can run Windows 8 from a USB stick? Attend this meeting to get a broad perspective on and see demonstration of client virtualization options including User Experience Virtualization, Remote App, Windows To Go, and VDI using tools from Microsoft you may already own!

Thanks for coming, and I'm glad you thought what I shared was of value. I e-mailed (today) Dan the slides I used for the sessions for him to post. If you have any questions and I don't respond here, hassle Dan!

Was a great presentation on VDI. The take away for me was make sure you understand the client needs then determine the virtualization requirement the best fits. You could save the customer a bunch of money that way.

You may park at MIT building 51 which is a block away for free. If you check the www.virtg.com website there are directions on the Home page

Are there anythings in particular folks would like to see or understand about VDI? I can certainly adjust my demonstrations / presentation - just let me know sooner rather than later!
