SPECIAL GUEST: Deborah Austin will deliver a 10 minute speech called: You are the Artist of Your Life.

Deborah Austin is a writer, keynote speaker and workshop facilitator. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), which is Toastmasters International’s highest honour. She has held many leadership positions within the organization. These roles include: Education Ambassador and Club President among numerous roles. She is a current Co-Chair of the District 60 Speakers Bureau. As a DTM, Deborah knows what is takes to become an excellent, high quality communicator. Her mission is to help you become one also! Deborah’s background includes an Hons BA in International Relations from the University of Toronto as well as post-graduate work in Corporate Communications. Her professional experience includes working in the media and information technology companies. She currently works in the public service. Details at:

At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.

Meetings are held every Thursday Evening, from 6:05 PM to 7:35 PM, at the CAMH Site, 33 Russell St., Room T321 (West Tower Building)

$75 membership fee for 6 months
