May 19 (6:30 - 9:00 PM)
Dr. Armaiti May, a vegan veterinarian from Los Angeles, will be in the Portland area on May 19, and will talk at the Northwest VEG Vancouver Potluck on vegan diets for cats and dogs, her experience as a vegan in veterinary school, and also will answer common veterinary questions. If you have a cat or dog or other small pet, this is a great opportunity to get your questions answered and to hear what Dr. May has to tell us. For more information about Dr. May, click here.
To take advantage of this great opportunity, we've moved the date of the Vancouver Potluck forward one week to better fit Dr. May's schedule. Both the potluck and the talk will be on May 19 in the Oak Room of the Marshall Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin, Vancouver, WA 98663 [see map]. This is just over the I-5 Bridge - very quick to reach from Portland. Come to the potluck at 6:30, Dr. May's talk at 7:30, or both.
For the potluck at 6:30, please bring a plant-based (no animal products, including honey) main dish, salad, or dessert; a card listing its ingredients; and plates and utensils for your use. Need plant-based ideas? Click here. If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6; increase the amount 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family. Northwest VEG potlucks are alcohol-free events. For more information call (503)[masked] or email [masked].
