TVW 2014: Super Special Sushi Lunch

sushiLOVE is a revolutionary new food cart from sushi chef Kelly McCormick using 100% plant-based and gluten-free ingredients. It just opened on August 1, so let's give them a warm welcome!!

sushiLOVE specializes in Uramaki, or “inside-out” rolls, also available as Tamaki (“hand rolls”) for half-price. Highlights include the Don’t Be Shellfish roll, featuring “sur-eel” sauce and broiled king oyster mushroom “scallops,” and the Bok Bok roll, which stars a spot-on vegan version of Pok Pok’s famous fish sauce. The menu also includes plant-based twists on classic rolls: the Avalon, California roll substitutes jackfruit for crab, and the Fresher than Fresh roll reimagines a cucumber roll with cashew-based cream cheese... plus more!

Thank you all for coming! We hope you enjoyed what you ordered and what you might have been able to taste from others too!

The bridges all close or partly close on Bridge Pedal Sunday morning!
I did the Bridge a Pedal 5 times when I was in my 60s.
I didn't know it was Bridge Pedal when I said Yes! To Sushi Love. I'll go another time. Thanks!

This morning TriMet cancelled service for Bus 15, Belmont, on the west side to east side of town and vice versa, due to Bridge Pedal. I won't be able to get to east side after all! Sorry! I will try that Sushi Place on my own sometime. Are they open later on Sundays? I could maybe go there for an early supper later when the Bridge Pedal is over, and the bridges are open again. Thanks!

You could still go if you wanted. You would just have to take a different route. Try trimet.org
