Northwest VEG Presents: August Vancouver Potluck

Join us for a delicious potluck followed by a special presentation by author Sarah Taylor. Sarah is currently on faculty at the Nutritional Education Institute, and has worked as a Motivational Trainer for Joel Fuhrman, MD, the NY Times best-selling author of Eat to Live. She is a writer for VegNews magazine and Aloha Living magazine, and has been interviewed for countless radio and internet shows, including NPR, PBS and EarthSave Radio, among others. Her first book, Vegan in 30 Days, has sold thousands of copies and is printed in multiple languages around the world.

After the potluck, Sarah will be discussing her successful second book, Vegetarian to Vegan, the new and increasingly respected ‘go-to’ book for vegetarians who want to give up dairy and eggs, and finally go vegan for good. You can read a review of her new amazing new book, Vegetarian to Vegan, here.

The potluck and presentation will be in the Oak/Elm Room at the Marshall Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin, Vancouver, WA 98663 [see map]. This is just over the I-5 Bridge - very quick to reach from Portland. Join us for the potluck at 6:30pm, the presentation at 7:30, or both!

For the potluck, please bring a plant-based (no animal products, including honey) main dish, salad, or dessert; a card listing its ingredients; and plates and utensils for your use. Need plant-based ideas? Click here. If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6; increase the amount 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family. Northwest VEG potlucks are alcohol-free events.

For more information email [masked]. A donation of $2-5 is suggested to help cover the cost of the room rental.
