vegan outreach leafleting and vegan lunch

I have both Compassionate Choices and Why Vegan leaflets in my house. We can spend 90 minutes leafleting on the street and then have a great lunch at one of the nearby vegan restaurants (either Sushi Love or Sweet Hereafter). For the leafleting we would need people that are 100% ethical vegans in order to appropriately advocate and answer questions (people who eat vegan, wear only vegan, don't use products tested on animals, etc.) and of course only wear vegan clothing for the leafleting please :) This will be the third time I have leafleted in this location and based on past experience, I anticipate traffic to be light and the best advocacy to come from quality of interactions v. quantity. We would locate ourselves on street corners near the area (meeting at the corner of SE 33 and Belmont please).

Total of 2 vegans came. We handed out a total of 91 leaflets to interested people then had vegan lunch. Zero negative encounters with public.
Zero negative encounters with shop owners
    Zero encounters with police.

    Highlights of the day include:

watching a dog bark and bark when a mailman walked by

giving a leaflet to somebody wearing a shirt with the slogan "You can't beat our meat" on it.

    Delicious food.

Good conversations with multiple people while leafleting.

Thanks for all the help Amanda! :)
