The War On Animals Film Benefit

Wednesday, Mar. 31 (8:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Come enjoy great music and watch a movie trailer for the upcoming film, The War on Animals, produced by local filmmaker Courtney Scott.

This event will be located at The Parlour (part of Chaos Cafe, a vegan/vegetarian place with an emphasis on local, organic and sustainable), 2628 SE Powell Blvd, Portland. There is a $10 suggested donation, to help with post production costs (nobody turned away). Musicians: Lisa Mann, Tim Pate and Seth Martin

The Parlour is Southeast Portland's premier, mustachioed venue. The Parlour specializes in all-ages, live music and performances, rare and exotic books, and ethnobotanicals. We carry local and hand-crafted goods; knit caps and arm-warmers, jams and teas, and even mustache wax. We strive to promote and enhance the local and sustainable, and help ensure the success of Portland microeconomies. The venue features the work of local artists, authors, and zinesters. Local microbrews on tap (or bottle), organic teas, and Stumptown coffee are always in stock.

There is no designated Viva La Vegan event host (veganlicious is not a real person) for this event but the event is being posted to facilitate other Viva La Vegan members getting together for this event. Members can see who else is going and email each other through their member pages to arrange meeting with each other at the event or even car-pooling to the event together.

Just to be clear, there will be other people there besides the VLV group so it can still be fun to go even if no one else signs up.
