Created and founded by Janet Jones, the Vixen Workout’s intense Hip-Hop cardio has taken the dance fitness scene by storm. Inspired by moves performed by your favorite artists and the Miami nightlife, this women’s only Dance Workout delivers easy to learn combinations that provide a full body workout and an experience unlike any other.
Each Vixen Workout creates a fun club atmosphere where women can let loose, forget responsibilities, and transform into their “alter-ego” or as we say “getting your Beyonce, Ciara, Rihanna on.' Women will be completing intense muscle toning movements hidden by clever choreography, loud music, and fun!
- I'VE NEVER DONE VIXEN. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
This class is suited for all levels. Never danced a day in your life? No worries. Our format is 60 minutes long, consisting of a class intro, warm-up, peak, and cool down. We dance in concert-like settings, so expect some cool, colorful lighting - this is your concert! Our music ranges from pop to hip-hop; that said, we like our music raw, so expect to hear all the good AND bad words in our songs. And finally, we are a judgment-free zone. We give you the safe space to dance your heart out and leave it on the dance floor - don't hold back!
- WHAT DO I WEAR?
We encourage you to wear your hair down, your favorite lipstick and an outfit that makes you feel like you're rehearsing for your own concert. Wait...did they just say hair down and makeup to workout?! YUP! We want you to get into character, and by "character" we mean tapping into your inner Rihanna, Beyonce, or J-Lo.
We recommend black leggings and a comfortable tank or muscle tee. Feel free to wrap a flannel around your waist for extra movement on those Thigh Shakes. For footwear, we recommend wearing athletic sneakers, but if you're feeling a little bold try some athletic sneaker wedges. Lastly, a towel and water are a must!
