This week, we welcome Tyler Morten to the Vogon Poetry stage. He is the CTO and co-founder of Givestack, Inc here in Lincoln.
Domain-Driven Design (DDD) was first presented in the 2003 book by Eric Evans entitled, "Domain-Driven Design: Tackling the Complexity in the Heart of Software". The concepts of DDD are almost 20 years old now. Mountains of new ideas regarding software architecture and design have come on the scene since then. Yet, many of the concepts of DDD still stand as guidelines for the development of complex software at scale.
In his talk, Tyler will give an overview of the core concepts of DDD and show how we can apply them today in a modern programming language and in a functional way.
While there is no actual poetry, we are throwing open the doors to Don't Panic Labs for the community to learn alongside our team.
