Clean Up Anglins Pier in LBTS

We will be helping our friends from Gold Coast Scuba and other concerned divers to clean up the East end of Anglins Pier.

Please plan on entering the water at 8 am and dive until 9:30 am. With the help of Tommy, the Pier Manager, several fishermen and numerous committed volunteers, the ocean floor is starting to look much better.

Buckets will be used to collect the debris and once filled will be pulled up and emptied by volunteers on the pier.

The rules:

1. You must have sea snips and gloves (discounted for this event at Gold Coast Scuba). No exceptions or use of knives, please.

2. You must sign a waiver for this event at Gold Coast Scuba (in advance) or at the pier on the day of the event (please see Kim Porter).

Thanks in advance for helping out with this clean-up effort. The LBTS sea life will much appreciate it!

Be safe and have fun!!!

Really enjoyed helping out...I'm not a diver...but was more than happy to help pull up those buckets. Looking forward to helping out again.

    Welcome Lacedeno.
    Welcome Debbie.
    Welcome back Angela.
Please note that Kim Porter will be your contact person for this event. Please introduce yourself to Kim, each other and the Gold Coast divers.
I am sorry but I won't be able to participate in the cleanup but look forward to the next one.

What a nice turn out we have on this clean up. Under Anglin's pier is so beautiful. We will have waivers at the pier or stop into Gold Coast Scuba to sign one and pick up any gear you may need.

    Greetings Lacedeno.

We apologize for the delay in responding to your question, we were on vacation.

We are thrilled that you are attending this event! Welcome.

The cleanup is scheduled for 1.5 hours. We use a beach entry and the depth of the water at the end of the pier is about 15 feet max. So please consider your SAC rate when making a tank rental decision.

You will enjoy the event! Last time everyone made a huge difference and we had fun. We usually see lots of nurse sharks and a huge school of Lookdown jacks
    . See you Saturday!
