Highlights from Vue.js Amsterdam

We've realised that we may be stuck working remotely for a little while longer. Even if we were to return back to the office, we will be doing that with certain restrictions in place, such as not allowing external people coming in. With that being said, it's probably going to take a loooong time before physical events are making a comeback.

This will be our first Virtual Meetup - and hopefully not the last one! If all goes well, we will resume to having our regular events every ~6 weeks. If any obstacles come on the way, I'm sure we can overcome them as a community, as we've done in the past!

The most important part is staying together to strengthen and continue building our community while learning new cool stuff.

Without further ado, welcome to our second meetup of the year!

We will be joined by Mark Sampson and Temitope Faro, who have both spoken at our events in the past. They will be covering some interesting topics from the Vue.js conference in Amsterdam, they have attended on the 20th and 21st of February. I still have a few talks from those days on my watchlist so this should be a good session to cross them over.

Now with the commute out of the way, we've thought it would be best to host the meetup at an earlier time, such that our attendees can get the most of their evenings. Let us know in the comments below whether or not this time works for you. We believe the sweet spot to start our event would be somewhere in the 4:30-5:30 range. The time below it's not fixed and can be amended to accommodate what works best for our community.

Don't forget, we are always on the lookout for speakers. Did you work on something exciting lately? Or maybe you think you can fill a gap on something we have not covered just yet. If that's so, then step in and do a 5-15min talk. It will be greatly appreciated by your colleagues in the community!
