Are the sleeping bags waterproof. Folks this is a.good intention, but unrealistic. What happens when it rains. I have worked with homeless for yrs and one has to think realisticly concerning help. Where will they store toiletries??? I have a real suggestion, I hand our a poncho, mylar blanket and toe/hand warmers. Ponchos cost me 25 cents, mylar blankets .40 cents and warmers 50 cents then placed in ziplock bag. Mylar blanket reflects 98 percent of body heat...so. instant warmth. Totally weatherproof

They are all weather sleeping bags. I make sure to get mummy bags for even the coldest weather. The homeless here sleep in tents and under tarps and have appreciated the sleeping bags, socks and other items.

Hi sleeping bags are not usually waterproof but if you have a tarp its great!I've been helping trough out the years gathering friends to help organizing a helping wave. Hats , gloves ,socks , lady pads.all clothing , shoes . Think of soft bread , soft not so sugary food most people have lost a lot of their teeth they can't chew much. They will be happy for a cup of warm anything. They are survival blankets in Wal-Mart or Amazon about 7.59 as well as survival tents made out of specific material. Ponchos can help a lot.
