Quick guide: Length=2 Pace=3 Terrain=3 Hills=4 (walk grades guide available at www.meetup.com/WAMMidlands/pages/[masked]/Walk_Grade_Descriptions)
Join WAMSD at Harting Down where there are dramatic hill-top views and secluded valleys, with abundant wild flowers.
This is a classic 4 mile downland evening walk, offering panoramic views over the Weald to the North Downs, before descending into secluded valleys of natural and historic interest.
We will meet in the National Trust Harting Down car park. This car park is free for National Trust members or £2 (coins only). There are no toilets on the route or in the car park.
We will start walking promptly at 7.30pm. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to locate us. There is little mobile phone signal available in the area.
Make sure you are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions on the day. Please see www.meetup.com/WAMMidlands/pages/[masked]/Walks'_suggested_clothing_and_kit_list for details of a suggested clothing and kit list.
