Hi, I'm DebbieJayne. Like many of you, more than just a survivor- I prefer the term WARRIOR. I have personally battled depression, anxiety, and several other medical diagnoses. And though I don't claim to be an expert, I was fortunate enough to have survived 13+ years of suicidal ideations, bad medicine, and a slew of self-destructive behaviors. I have finally found my light and want to devote my life towards helping others find theirs.
I have spent much of my life searching for answers, knowledge, and wisdom in all directions. I have learned so much and now want to teach others what I discovered that has helped me. I have created Warrior Wellness with this in mind.
I believe in holding space for those looking for community, so that we might be able to learn from one another's experiences. We can teach each other about our coping strategies so that we are instead, led towards self-empowerment and resiliency.
One of the most important aspects of healing depression or resolving stress is based on the support system and community we have in place. Some of us aren't as extroverted as others, but that doesn't make community any less important.
Let's learn how to use tools the educational system doesn't teach us about, so that perhaps we can learn how to "adult" better. I'll share practice exercises and we can discuss recreational activities you never knew could be therapeutic.
Discussion Groups include:
Adulting Hacks, Tips, or Tricks
Any donations collected will be split between WARRIOR Wellness and The SIMS Foundation, so that we can help cause greater ripple effects in our world. Whether it's a fight or a dance, I believe that music comes from the musician's state of mind and how it intermingles with their souls. Providing mental health care to musicians might just change darkness into joy, which will be reflected in what they share with the world.
WARRIOR Wellness invites you to come and participate. Feel free to bring anyone you feel might benefit from this community.
Through Love and Light, DebbieJayne
P.S. Feel free to bring a pen and notepad, should you want to jot anything down.
