How did you first discover WFMU?

I started listening to WFMU back in 2000 or so, when I stumbled upon an interview with an author I liked on an early episode of The Best Show. Since then, I've slowly discovered the rest of this amazing station, its staff & its listeners. It amazes me all the time that such an incredible listener-supported source of unbelievably cool stuff can exist in today's world

What's your favorite WFMU show?

The Best Show on WFMU, Evan "Funk" Davies's show, Do or DIY with People Like Us, The Old Codger -- these are my mostly-regular shows, but I also listen to lots of others, including Therese, Cherry Blossom Clinic, Night People, Seven Second Delay, Antique Phonograph, etc, etc, etc...

Why do you listen?

Because of the complete awesomeness of it all. What a silly question!

Hi all. Former NYer living in LA since 2004 -- I'm a composer and musician for film, TV and theatre. I've been listening to WFMU regularly for over a decade, mostly because it is the best best best.
