A quaint river town full of history, Cold Spring maintains the charm of its hay days when the Foundry was booming and large estates and cottages sprouted. The waterfront has fabulous views and Main Street is a delightful spot for antiques, specialty shops and Restaurants.
One of my favorites is Le Bouchon – Pascal Graff, owner and chef converted a century-old home into a cozy, casual French restaurant. The produce is locally grown or organic, and the poultry is Hudson Valley raised; This is an authentic experience that is hard to find in the Valley.
I just spoke to Michael, he manages and waits tables and he will explain each course when we're seated and we can share appetizers and entrees and select a couple of bottles of wine. I plan on a small group of us to attend (6-8) this way the check will be easy to figure out.
