What we're about

This group is for thinkers, doers, idea makers, independent workers, freelancers, telecommuters, entreprenerds, small businesses, startups, techies, non-profits, innovators, educators, mentors, workshop leaders, and coaches.

The overall goal of the WingSpace Coworking meetup group is to build an energetic community of independent workers in the Prescott Quad Cities area. Our meetups will be hosted by various small business owners based on their area of expertise. We are hell-bent on expanding the economic development focus in the Prescott Quad Cities area to include entrepreneurism. This group is for those who choose to live here for the rural lifestyle, the great weather, and the wonderful outdoor recreation - it's for those who want to work here and live here.

Canva Work Along

WingSpace

Work Along Facilitator: Kara Peterson, Kind Defined. Kara has been using Canva to create graphic images for her non-profit organization and claims that it has changed her world, and she wants to share what she has learned with others. Canva is a free, online graphic design tool...for people who don’t know how to use graphic design programs (like illustrator). If you want to create beautiful, unique or brand targeted documents, social media posts, graphics, well the sky is pretty much the limit, Canva allows you to do these in a fairly simple way. This is a program for the simple people who have not used a graphic design program. It is a “point and click” kind of platform, with all of the beauty, simplicity and limitations that implies. This class will be showing you some easy applications, how to get around Canva and you will create a Facebook post in class. Come to class with a tablet, laptop or even iPhone (although I have not used it on a smart phone) and already have the Canva app on your device and sign up for your free account so we can use our full hour to create! PARTICIPATION FEE: $10 (payable at the event) RSVP to save your seat.Space is limited to 14 participants..
