5976 Genesee St. , Lancaster, NY
Join us for English High Tea preceded by a tour of The Hull Family Home & Farmstead, whose focal point is the beautiful stone farmhouse built by American Revolutionary War veteran, Warren Hull. Hull House Foundation will be hosting this event to show us how Christmases were celebrated by early settlers in our area.
The all-volunteer non-profit Hull House Foundation was formed in 2006 to research, restore and operate this site as a Living History interpretive experience. We'll see how the Warren Hull Family and their descendants, representative of the earliest settlers of WNY, decorated their homes at Christmastime, and learn more about common customs and practices during this time.
RSVP here and call[masked] as soon as possible to make reservations for this popular event. When calling, please ask to be seated with Gail Becher, and be prepared to pay $22 a person by credit card over the telephone. If possible, we recommend you use a landline phone for security of your personal information.
No taxes, no tips, but donations appreciated, Christmas High Tea will be held in the Victorian House to the left of Hull House, and begins promptly at 2:00. If you'd also like to tour Hull Family Home and Farmstead, please arrive at 12:30 next door.
