Paint and Glaze Pottery (Kiln Firing Included)

  • The Clay Cafe

2413 Grand Island Boulevard, Grand Island 14072, NY (map)

    43.027458 -78.967690

  • There's a new studio on Grand Island where we can paint our own pottery! Simply choose your piece from their wide selection, gather your tools and colors, and have fun!

Each painter purchases a piece to paint and a flat-rate cost for glaze. Pieces range from $5-$35 and the painting fees are $4 per child (under 12) and $6 per adult per piece.

Who can paint? Anyone and everyone! Painting pottery and clay making is fun and simple for all ages. No experience or special skill is needed. Their clay and glazes are non-toxic, and non-staining and, when you're finished, they fire your piece in their kilns. It will be ready to pick up and enjoy in about a week.

Once fired, your artworks are food-safe, dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and durable...meant for everyday use and to be very special gifts!

Come paint with us and, while we're there, we'll also check out their unique vegabowls that they creatively cast from actual fruits and vegetables. These are available for purchase during regular studio hours.
