Lunchtime Lesson: Microsoft Excel Quick Tips & Easy Learning

No smoke and mirrors in this 1-hour software demonstration.  In this lunchtime lesson, Sharel McVey will advance whatever skill level you have with Excel to a higher level.  You’ll get some fun tips and see a few Excel functions you probably aren’t aware of that allow you to create a practical example of compiling data in an easy-to-use spreadsheet.  By the end of the session, you’ll feel comfortable building a spreadsheet to store data that quickly populates a summary report.  Instructional handout and sample file offered to all attendees.

Feel free to bring a bag lunch.

$5 at the door – help us keep the lights on and keep great programs coming your way! (WORK Members free- including Friends of WORK!)

Sharel McVey is the author of multiple Excel QuickStart books published by Macmillan Publishers.  She has 2 decades of experience as a software trainer and consultant serving a wide range of Bay Area businesses.  As computing migrated from the desktop to the cloud, she held positions with a cloud computing start-up and an enterprise software company serving the higher education market.  Today you’ll find her thriving with “Adjunct Business Services” – a small business dedicated to helping people get the full advantage of software to become more productive.  You can read more about Sharel’s background and business services at www.sharelmcvey.com
