Come and get out of the city to explore the unique Bird Preserve located just south of Elk Grove off of Franklin Blvd. Often seen are rare birds, an otter or beaver, and friendly bird watchers. These roads are safe to ride and generally with very few cars on our route. We will ride 13-15 mph and approximately 1.5 - 2 hours, depending on cyclists. Bring binoculars if you want to view the birds after our ride. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy all nature has to offer. A few jerseys still available for sale. If interested in purchasing, bring check or cash only.
Carpooling available for the event since parking is limited. Leaving early in time to get good parking and bikes mounted on car racks. Hint: please donate a few bucks to the driver for gas for their time, etc. Always appreciated. ♡ Remember to wear your WOW jersey as we ride as a team.
