This is a mental and physical health group open to anyone. We walk 1 hour around Victoria Park every other week on Sundays. You decide if you want to talk, listen, or be a quiet observer (or just listen to music). I've found that when you are suffering from mental health issues 1) it's hard to get out there and get exercise 2) you need someone to talk to and sometimes strangers with their own issues understand best or are easier to talk to 3) weekends can be rough. Anyone joining should be respectful to all other members, mindful of mental health issues, keeping talks confidential and allow for an open and safe space. You decide walking pace and how long you want to join the walk for. Pets welcome (and encouraged!).
