Please join us as we celebrate the birthday of our youngest--and perhaps most energetic--member. LILITH WITTERBRINK has been busy bringing much nachas and joy to her mom and dad over the past two years (her mom, Shana Liberman, is one of our original members).
We will mark this auspicious occasion with an early, no-host dinner at the Yard House, located at 226 Lewers Street in Waikiki. The Yard House has an extensive menu, including both vegetarian and vegan options, which may be viewed at https://www.yardhouse.com/locations/hi/honolulu/waikiki-waikiki-beach-walk/8316 .
Please plan to join the mishpachah (family) for this very happy and special occasion!

A NOTE ABOUT HOLDING ACTIVITIES ON SHABBAT:
The Waikiki Jewish Meetup has members who may be shomer Shabbos, as well as members who identify as secular. Many are available to attend activities on Sunday ... but some may only be free on Saturday. All, however, are valued--and we want to make it possible for everyone to join us on occasion.
Accordingly, we may schedule events on Saturday from time to time. If we do, the events will be held within Waikiki or immediately adjacent neighborhoods. We will not schedule events on Saturday morning, when the congregations are holding services. If we have an event on a Saturday which requires fees or other payments, we will cover the cost for any individuals who prefer not to handle money on Shabbat, and they will be able to reimburse us at a later time. There are no perfect compromises, but hopefully this will accommodate everyone's needs to the greatest extent possible.
