This is a guided walk to the summit of Pen y Fan (the highest mountain in Southern Britain) in time for the sunrise.
A couple of times a year we lead a group of early risers to witness the spectacle of the sun creeping over the horizon to welcome in a new day :)
It can be cold on the top even in good weather so warm layers and waterproofs are essential.

Wales Outdoors on Meetup
This group is for those who would like to take part in walking and adventures in Wales and walking holidays to places like Scotland, Tenerife and Iceland.
We offer a range of day long walks of varying distances and so hope to cover most levels of ability/fitness.
The main aim of the group is to get people outdoors and walking and socialising.
We encourage the development of interest in the hills and mountains of Wales. We facilitate our members to build their skills and to get out on their own or to look to us for guided adventures in the UK and abroad.
This group is a social group, meeting up for tall tales and a few beers/food every now and again and these social gatherings will always be the starting point for this groups development.
Wales Outdoors is actively seeking members and new walking leaders.
