WALK TALK YOGA® | PRENATAL WALKING & YOGA GROUP IN BROOKLYN | IN PROSPECT PARK FROM MARCH TO END OF NOVEMBER & ON DEMAND IN WILLIAMSBURG/BUSHWICK AT MAKARA YOGA STUDIO FROM DECEMBER TO FEBRUARY!

Join prenatal yoga instructor Sofia Reeser and birth doula Kyra Caruso for a weekly walk through Prospect Park (March - November) and prenatal classes at Makara Studio in Bushwick (December - February); WalkTalkYoga in the park consists of walking, childbirth education and includes a thirty minutes prenatal yoga class at the end of the walk.

PROSPECT PARK | SATURDAY MORNINGS: The walking moms meet at 9:00AM at the entrance of the Brooklyn Public Library. We will start our walk at 9:15AM, which will take around 45 minutes, followed by a 30 minutes prenatal yoga session.

MAKARA STUDIO WILLIAMSBURG/BUSHWICK | SATURDAY AFTERNOONThe expectant moms meet at 2:00PM at Makara Studio in Bushwick. Kyra and Sofia will guide mommies-to-be and partners through breathing techniques and prenatal exercises.

This is a great way to prepare on the weekend, bring new mommies together, stay fit and most importantly prepare for the special moment – the birth of your baby.* * Dads and future moms are welcome to join as well.

Registration & Cost: Simply e-mail Kyra and Sofia @ walktalkyoga@gmail.com, so we can get a gage on how many people will attend, we like our groups intimate in order to provide a satisfactory walk and yoga session. WalkTalkYoga is based on a suggested fee of $10 per walk. We understand if this is not within your means and are happy with whatever you are comfortable giving.

What to wear & bring: Try to wear comfortable walking gear (yoga outfit and good walking shoes). Bring a bottle with your favorite soft drink (water or juice) and bring a light snack in case you feel a bit hungry. Please, make sure to also bring a thin sheet or towel to sit on, for the prenatal yoga class. (In case you do not have a towel/or thin sheet to sit on, we will bring some picnic blankets and the studio has some yoga mats.)
