Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is a wonderful gothic tale and ghost story. Written during the Industrial Age, the story contains a powerful condemnation of greed and an even more powerful message that it's never to late to get life right.
Dickens used the Christmas holiday as the perfect symbol for his still-relevant novella, which appears in endless stage adaptations (including several in L.A.) every year. We've chosen A Noise Within's version, which the repertory company has been performing for a couple of decades.
Afterwards, we'll go to dinner at the original Panda Inn. Should be fun and festive!
Our group has good seats, normally $45, but our group discount price is $33. Please pay first, and then RSVP. RSVPs must close by November 1st in order to make our group payment to to A Noise Within. Sorry there are no refunds!
We encourage carpooling to Pasadena. Parking is free, right behind the theater, in the Sierra Madre Villa Metro parking lot. Here is a link with directions to the theater: http://www.anoisewithin.org/plan-your-visit/maps-parking/
