Walking-In-Your-Shoes is a highly effective and illuminating way to have a family member, animal, colleague, illness, creative project, helpful archetype, or anything at all revealed in great depth, with safety and compassion.

With Joseph Culp's expert guidance, in these groups the Walker is able to intuitively receive through the wisdom of the body the inner experience of who or what they are Walking.

In Walking-In-Your-Shoes, the Walker describes in detail, both physically and verbally, the insights received. These insights are usually stunning, transformative, and even life-changing.

For those of you familiar with Constellation Work, WIYS shares the magic of representations but is usually done as a single representation for an extended period of time while Walking.

These weekly Sunday gatherings are an opportunity to both receive insight into anything or anyone in your life as well as receive and share insight for others. WIYS is also a great and easy way to de-mystify and develop your intuitive ability. No previous intuitive training is needed to gain and give tremendous benefit with this process.

We hope you will come Walk with us – and within any aspect of life’s experience!

Actor, Director and Filmmaker, Joseph Culp, co-founded Walking-In-Your-Shoes™ body/mind process with John Cogswell, Ph.D. in Los Angeles during the late 1980s. Seeing the possibilities for both psychotherapy and performing arts, they began groups and workshops comprised of actors and therapists. Culp formed the Walking Theatre Group in 1992 to explore the use of WIYS with creative arts. Together with Dr. Cogswell, he continued to develop WIYS for use in psychotherapy, business and community renewal for the next 20 years. Joseph trained Family Constellation facilitator Christian Assel in WIYS who went on to write the first book about the process, “Walking-In-Your-Shoes”: Walking is Understanding” in 2010. Assel now runs the WIYS Institut in Europe. Joseph’s Walking Theatre Group is currently in residence at the Electric Lodge in Venice, CA. Joseph has introduced hundreds of people to WIYS, and trained many therapists who have gone on to make WIYS part of their practice and life work. < > < > .
