At 2:20am on the morning of 15th April 1912 the British passenger liner RMS Titanic sinks to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean with the loss of more than 1500 souls.
This guided walk around Godalming recounts the tale of John George 'Jack' Phillips , the senior wireless telegraphist aboard the RMS Titanic, from his early years in Godalming to his final hours aboard the ship.
We visit several Titanic memorials, find out where Jack lived and where he first learnt to use morse code.
