    A most wonderful trip to Pula in Istria this fantastic area of Croatia that is very Italian influenced with an amphitheatre and architecture due to its lively history ! Please book your Easyjet flights : 10.15am Tuesday 18th June to Pula 10.10pm Saturday 22nd June from Pula Please book any fairly central hotel in Pula and then put a comment on event page as to where you are staying. Anyone who has not booked their hotel and travel by end of January shall be removed from the trip. Some tremendous varied coastal walks plus free time to explore this lovely area ! Proposed walks : Wednesday 9.30am amphitheatre - Premantura/Kamanjak amazing remote coastal walk Thursday 9.30am amphitheatre - am Porec and Plava Laguna to Zelena Laguna or Sveti Nikola island pm Rovinj and Park Forest Zlatini Rt Friday 9.30am amphitheatre - Brijuni stunning nearby islands Walks are between 7 and 9 miles in length. We shall take a stroll around Pula on Tuesday meeting at 5pm outside the amphitheatre. Saturday is a free day but we may decide to schedule something whilst in the trip.   • Newhaven to Brighton Coastal Walk

    Lets go with the flow and do this really wonderful 10 mile coastal walk. Please arrive by 9.30am so as to facilitate the purchase of group train tickets at around £19 each to Brighton for the 10.16am train that arrives after changing at Lewes at Newhaven Town at 11.38am. Meetup fee £5. Please make sure you have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity. Please bring water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes / trainers. Also bring sunhat, suncream and sunglasses. We have lunch at a pub en route overlooking the sea. Most of the walk is along the cliffs and then with 3 or 4 miles to go the walk becomes an undercliff walk so the views should be especially great on a beautiful Summer's day. We shall meet again at around 4.30pm by the pier in Brighton and then maybe have an ice cream and then a drink before taking the train back to London. In association with Weekday Walks.   • Maidenhead to Marlow Wonderful Thames Path Walk

    Let's go with the flow midweek on this absolutely stunning 9 mile Thames Path Walk ! Please arrive by 10am so as to facilitate the purchase of group train tickets at £11.15 each to Marlow and we shall take the 10.27am train that arrives at Maidenhead at 11.04am. Please bring waterproof jacket, walking shoes boots or trainers, packed lunch ( or you can eat in the pub ), water, snacks etc. Meetup fee £5. We shall stop for a drink around lunchtime and also at the end of the walk.     Come join us on this FREE walk ! Walthamstow Wetlands recently opened to the public having had £10 million spent on it to make it the biggest wetlands in Europe. Its free to enter. Sorry - the centre does not permit dogs. Wear trainers please and bring water and snacks etc plus waterproof jacket in case of rain ! We shall leave the meeting place at 10.30am and then have a coffee in the cafe that affords great views of the wetlands at the halfway point before then completing the circuit by 1pm.     A most delightful 5 mile Thames Path walk on a lovely Midsummer evening ! We shall set off at 5pm and proceed to walk around 5 miles with a wonderful fading sun along the Thames Path culminating with drinks and a meal if you like at around 7.15pm at a great pub on Kew Bridge.   • Bewl Water - a most stunning walk

    A most stunningly beautiful 11 mile walk in the Sussex countryside and by a clockwise stretch of beautiful Bewl Water ! Bewl Water is a reservoir and is the biggest stretch of open water in the whole of the South East. Let's go with the flow ! Please only rsvp if you can walk 2.5 miles per hour and you should have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity. Please arrive by 9.05am to facilitate the purchase of group train tickets - Wadhurst return - at £13 each for the train at 9.45am that arrives at 10.47am. Train ticket : Wadhurst return.     A most glorious and stunning 9.5 mile gently undulating walk that takes in wonderful Pangbourne, Coombe Park and the Goring Gap - one of the most beautiful and dramatic stretches of the River Thames ! Please arrive by 9.30am so as to facilitate the purchase of group return train tickets at £15.60each ( to Cholsey ) for the 10.15am train that arrives at Cholsey at 11.32am. Meetup fee £5.
