What we're about
We are a group of people who meet together to practise zazen and study the writings of Master Dogen - a 13th Century Japanese Buddhist monk. We are located near Lloyd Park, and practise fortnightly on Saturday morning's from 10 am. We sit together for 1 hour with 10 minutes of kinhin walking meditation in the middle. We then have tea and a discussion, usually about an aspect of Buddhist philosophy. Anyone, from any background, is welcome to attend. It's good to wear loose clothes and come a little early for instruction the first time. Please find us on Facebook, under Walthamstow Zen Sangha. Feel free to drop me any queries you might have about what we do here.
