Description: This is a short 3-mile hike in Usery Pass Park. It is a great after work fitness hike with 800 ft elevation gain in 1.5 miles. It is an in and out hike: 1.5 miles up and 1.5 miles down. At the top, there are nice views of Mesa and the valley and the fountain in Fountain Hills if it is going off. If you are still going up when the group comes down - please turn around at that point to stay with the group (unless you have driven your own car - and want to finish the hike alone). Optional drinks after the hike on a local restaurant patio which is close the Starbucks at which we are meeting.
