Description: We will rent Kayaks on the way out of town (or bring you own) and head up to Blue Ridge Reservoir located about 40 miles north of Payson. Blue Ridge Reservoir looks more like a canyon-bound river than a lake. Nestled between forested canyon walls it provides picturesque water recreation in a secluded, wooded setting. We will Kayak as long as we like, select a camp spot and head back the next morning. See pictures (http://www.meetup.com/Wandering-Soles-Hiking/photos/8413582/) from last year’s trip.
