Description: Explore the eastern Superstitions via the less traveled route. Our destination, located on one of the highest peaks, is Circlestone which is a mysterious 140ft circular ruin. The trip starts Friday at the most eastern trailhead (Horrell) where we will hike 6.5 miles along the Pinto Peak trail to our first camp at Campaign Creek. There is a reliable spring within a ¼ mile of camp. Saturday morning, we’ll do a 5.1 mile side trip to Circlestone and back. After breaking down camp, we will relocate 4.4 miles to our next camp at Oak Flat where we can get water from West Pinto Creek. Sunday, we hike out the last 7 miles along the Cuff Button trail. This event is limited to paid members and their guests. See Membership and Dues (http://www.meetup.com/Wandering-Soles-Hiking/pages/Membership_and_Dues/).
